Naresh Bunkar is visiting Piparkachhar village under Dalamahua panchayat in Pandariya block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh where villagers tell him that more than 25 Baiga Adivasi families are living here from 2001 on forest land and they have filled the claim form twice under forest right act 2005 and after getting approval from panchayat but haven’t got land lease yet. Forest Rights: Gram Sabha approved but forest dept rejected our applications...
Naresh Bunkar is visiting Birjunagar village under Putputa panchayat in Pandariya block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh and talking to adivasis who say 36 adivasi families whose application was approved by village gram sabha has not been approved by forest dept which is illegal as they don’t have such right under forest rights act . No electricity in adivasi village, it is dangerous to live in dark in forest area...
Lavlesh Kumar Adivasi is calling from Khadkauni Tola under Virpur village and panchayat in Jawa block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh and talking to villagers who say there is no electricity connection in their Kol Adivasi village. They are forced to live in the dark and it is very dangerous as it is a forest area. They have appealed to officials many times but no action has been taken. So many mines in Saranda forest area but local adivasi youth not getting job...
Gaju Deogam is calling from Saranda forest area in Manoharpur block of West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand where he is talking to local youth who tells him that there are so many mines in the area but local youth is not getting job and they are forced to migrate to cities in search of work.
