All official documents like Aadhar and ration card describe them as Baiga but land record of revenue dept calls some of them as Bhumia, Souta, Bhaina etc. When students are going for caste certificate officers are denying them saying they are not Baiga. Anil Bamne is telling us about a village of Gond and Baiga adivasis called Niwaskhar which is situated inside Achanakmar tiger reserve in Lormi block of Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh. Adivasis from this village worked for Govt under employment guarantee act 5 months back for deepening of pond but are still waiting for wages. On the night of 5th June village women like Ramkali Kujur and Budhkunwar from Jakadbandha village in Lormi block of Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh caught headmaster of local Primary school Mr Lahre while he was smuggling 5.5 quintal rice meant for children in mid-day meal to sell. Local media was also invited. 10 days have passed but they tell neither there is any report on media nor any action has been taken against Mr Lahre. Please call District Education officer@9425561649. Anil Bamne from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh says on 6th Dec 2013 he had visited Bamhani village in Achanakmar Tiger reserve area in Lormi block of Mungeli district. He had recorded an interview with villagers who had complained that the headmaster of the village school comes in drunken state. I am glad to share that after the report the headmaster was suspended. Anil Bamne says today I visited village Bamni near Achanakmar tiger reserve in Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh and was shocked to see the bad condition of local school. The parents told him that the teacher comes only once a week and when he comes he is always drunk. He is so drunk that often he pisses sitting on his chair. What can one expect from such teacher.
