काश कि मैंने बस्तर ना देखा होता
तो मैं भी राष्ट्र की मुख्य धारा का एक विश्वसनीय नागरिक होता
फिर मैं भी क्रिकेट की ये वाली या वो वाली टीम के जीतने या हारने की राष्ट्रीय समस्या पर शर्तें लगाता हुआ पूरी शाम ऐश से बिताता
और चर्चा करता टी वी सिरिअलों की सास बहु की शह और मात के गंभीर मुद्दे पर
शर्त लगाता अपनी पत्नी से कि देख लेना इस बार बहू ही जीतेगी

लेकिन बस्तर से लौटने के बाद मैं अजीब और खतरनाक बातें करने लगा हूँ
मेरे रिश्तेदार मेरे पहुंचते ही आपस में इशारे कर के बारी बारी से उठ कर चले जाते हैं
क्यों कि मेरी बातों में होते हैं आदिवासियों के जले हुए घर
अपमानित आदिवासी बच्चियां
“देश का विकास कर रही अच्छी सरकार” के भयानक क्रूर कर्म
मेरी बातों में होते हैं करतम जोगा, सुखनाथ ओयामी , मदकम हिडमे
और पोंजेर गाँव में कुल्हाड़ी से काट दिए गए महुआ बीनते छह आदिवासियों के खून से लथपथ शव

क्या कोई मुझे फिर से मुझे कोई फिर से एक अच्छा नागरिक बना सकता है ?
जो टी वी , क्रिकेट और फिल्मो जैसी सभ्य बातें करे ,
असभ्य आदिवासियों, बराबरी, विकास के समान बंटवारे जैसी बातें बिलकुल ना करे

Pleading the case of Kopa advocate Colin Gonsalves argued that the state has arrested Kopa alleging abduction of two people while one of them have given statement in court saying that Kopa tried to fight against their abduction. Himanshu Kumar says Amolak Singh from Lok Morcha Punjab has informed that Govt of Punjab has started a process of land acquisition in villages of Mansa district. Poeple got no notice for their fertile agriculture land to be taken away to establish a thermal power plant. He says people have been protesting against this acquisition and now when they have announced to bring out a rally against it, all the leaders are getting arrested. Himanshu Kumar says one of his colleagues have returned from the 3 villages which were burnt by security forces in March. The colleague reports that policemen had looted the adivasis after visits of CM Dr Raman Singh and Food Commissioner to Supreme Court Mr Harsh Mander. Police have also arrested two adivaisis from Morpalli who translated for Mr Harshmander. Noopa Mutta and Madvi Sulla had not returned home till the last information. He says villagers are removing their roofs in fear of further attack

Himanshu Kumar says after the news of burning, rape and murder of adivasis in Dantewada when social activist Swami Agnivesh tried to go to the villages he was stopped by SPO and their families and he had to go back. But after that CM Dr Raman Singh provided him 150 policemen and an officer Mr Marawi to accompany him. But the same crowd once again attacked them when thye tried to visit the second time and neither the police officer or jawans could help. Mr Marawi himself fell down on the ground. He says this shows that SPOs have now become a unruly mob which even government can not control
