He says I am happy to share that now they have got their wages. He wants to thank all of us who had called the officials. Brijesh Singh is walking around in Rewa town in Madhya Pradesh in mid summer and finds a free cold drinking water place. He talks to the person who has started the place. He tells him that he is doing it from last 10 years. He buys earthern pots of Rs 1100 each year. He says after his report they got calls from health officials from Bhopal and local health officials visited them and assured that TBAs will also get Govt support if they bring cases to hospital as ASHA health workers do. Brijesh Singh is talking to traditional midwives ( Dais) in Rewa MP who are sitting on a protest fast demanding continuing Govt support to them. They say earlier they were given Rs 600 per child birth but now they are promoting only ASHA workers. They say villagers get more support from traditional midwives and not ASHA.
