Sudam Bhoi from Bargarh district in Odisha is reciting a poem in Kosli language on the occasion of Nuakhai festival tomorrow. He says on this day people in Western Odisha and Chhattisgarh start eating new harvested rice after paying homage to Goddess. The words of poem are like this:
हमारे परब हमारे गर्व हैं
देखो हमारा त्यौहार आ गया है
माँ सम्बलेश्वरी सबको सुख दे
सबको नुआखाई का जोहार
इस नुआखाई को याद करते हुये
हिंसा अहंकार कपटता त्यागकर
सब कोई इस परब को मनाएं, जोहार

Sunil Verma is visiting Chandwa area in Latehar district of Jharkhand where villagers are getting united Van Adhikar manch under to fight for proper implementation of Forest Rights Act. Sunil Verma from Ranchi is telling story of village Jala in Latehar district which has applied for Community Rights on 456 hectare of land in 2011 according to Forest Rights Act.
