The village is on a mountain in Achanakmar tiger reserve buffer area where residents are forced to drink dirty nullah water. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Bangar village of Sendurkhar Panchayat in Pandaria block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh to say that 159 Baiga Adivasis hold ration cards in villages around here but didn’t have a ration shop nearby.They live up in the hills and had to walk 9 kms to get their ration every month. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Rajak village panchayat Dudhia in Lormi block, Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh to say that teacher in primary school here visits only once a month. 100 Baiga adivasis families live here. The village is located in a forested area on a mountain where 68 Baiga Adivasi children are enrolled but classes are not held regularly.Many complaints have been made to the BEO, to no avail. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Telaidabra village of Chhaparwa Panchayat, Lormi block, Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh, saying that in this Baiga Adivasi village, four hand pumps were broken. The villagers recorded a message on CGNet Swara in September and thereafter the PHE department responded and repaired all the hand pumps within two weeks. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Ghameri village Lormi block, Mungeli district Chhattisgarh and saying that 250 Baiga Adivasis had not received NREGA wages for road work done in March- April, 2014. The villagers learnt about CGNet through the Citizen Journalism Awareness Yatra on 22 August and reported their problem.
