Impact: Baiga adivasis got ration shop, won't have to walk 9 kilometers uphill...

Naresh Bunkar is calling from Bangar village of Sendurkhar Panchayat in Pandaria block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh to say that 159 Baiga Adivasis hold ration cards in villages around here but didn’t have a ration shop nearby. They live up in the hills and had to walk 9 kms to get their ration every month. A society now has been opened in their village after their report on Swara. They thank Swara listeners and officers for helping them. Naresh Bunkar@9630770722
