Ashok Singh from the village tells him that PHE dept installed a water tank in 2012 without a motor and laid a pipeline throughout the village but didn’t turn it on. About 500 Dalit and Adivasi persons live in the village and have to get drinking water from the nearby river. Ramashankar Prajapati is calling from Arun Nagar in Raipur Karchhulihan village in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh and says he had reported on CGnet Swara that water supply was disrupted from many days here in July since water pump was broken. After Swara listeners pressurized the officials they responded and the motor was repaired in 2 weeks. People are now getting drinking water and they thank Swara listeners for helping them. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Rajak village of Bodhiya Panchayat, Lormi block, Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh and says villagers had reported on Swara about 2 broken hand pumps in the village on 6th November. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Thengatola village under Kandawani Panchayat in Pandariya block of Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh and says a check dam was constructed in 2009-10 under NREGA with 49 lakh rupees. There is no water in the dam. Also the payment of 50 laborers for 3 weeks is still due. As the dam is located in a forest no body looks after it.
