Brahman Markam from Patalkot MP is suggesting traditional treatment of Joint pain & Arthritis. Soak 5 Kg Madar plant root (Calotropis gigantea) in water for 3 days. Then add 1 Kg Wheat and leave for 2 more days. After that remove all wheat and after drying grind this wheat to make floor. Make a pancake using this floor. They say earlier they were given Rs 600 per child birth but now they are promoting only ASHA workers. They say villagers get more support from traditional midwives and not ASHA.
