मोहन और रमेश दो भाई थे, वे एक गरीब परिवार से थे, एक बार दोनो काम की तलाश में निकले मोहन को एक सरदार के घर काम मिला, सरदार उसे दिन में पत्ते में भोजन और रात में आधी रोटी देने की बात कहा, जिसे मानकर मोहन रहकर काम करने लगा, उसे बकरी चराने का काम मिला,काम के बाद इमली के पत्ते मे भोजन और आधी रोटी दिया जाता, कई दिनो बाद भाई के वापस न आने पर रमेश खोजते हुवे सरदार के घर पहुंचा तो देखा भाई वहां रहकर पतला दुबला हो चुका है, तब उसने भाई को घर भेज दिया और उसकी जगह पर खुद रहने लगा, रमेश काम के बाद जब तालाब मे नहाने जाता तो कमल का एक पत्ता प्रतिदिन तोड़कर लाता, सरदार कमल के पत्ते में भोजन देने से कतराते लेकिन मजबूरन देने लगे और रात को आधी रोटी, सरदार के इस व्यहार से परेशान होकर रमेश जब बकरी चराने जाता तो प्रतिदिन एक बकरी को मारकर खाता और उसकी खाल इमली के डाली में लटका देता, सरदार ने देखा बकरियों की संख्या घटती जा रही है, तो उसने रमेश से पूंछा जिस पर उसने सरदार को इमली के पेड़ के पास ले जाकर कहा आपका बकरी इमली का पत्ता खा रहा है, इससे सीख मिलती है कि किसी के सांथ अन्याय नही करना चाहिए उसका परिणाम बुरा होता है |

My mother in law is more than 80 years old and was not getting her old age pension from long. We visited many officers many times but nothing helped.
