She says the ambulance people promised to come but they never did and she faced huge difficulty to take her pregnant patient to hospital. Anil Bamne from Bilaspur says today a poor pregnant woman went to the govt hospital in Kota where nurses demanded Rs 300 after the delivery. They also asked the family to buy equipments needed for delivery.The doctor demands Rs 200 to sign on the form of Janani Suraksh Yojna. When free ambulence is not available then one needs to hire a vehicle to reach the hospital. This way a poor woman ends up spending more than Rs 2000 for delivery. This needs to change.
