My name is Bhagirathi. I live in Abhanpur near Raipur in Chhattisgarh. We asked for work under NREGA on 3rd March but no work was given though government says they will give compensation if they can not give work in 2 weeks. I went to many officials including the collector and local MLA who came to our village during Gram Suraj Abhiyan and they promised to look at my demand for compensation.
