Savita Rath from Jan Chetna in Raigarh Chhattisgarh is giving us details about the planned protest march on 5th January 2013 demanding judicial enquiry of lathi charge few years ago in Tamnar. Jagdish Ji today is visiting manikpur village in Chitrakoot district in Uttar Pradesh where he meets 40 adivasi families. They tell him that they started cultivating around 300 bigha of forest land in 1992 but they were removed from that land in 2000. They have applied for getting that land back under Forest Rights Act but there is no action.
