Prakash Gupta from Sarguja, Chhattisgarh says that instead of villagers, machines are being used to do work under MNREGA. A false muster has been created and the officials and bank employees for 65 workers and have siphoned off Rs 1.65 laks whereas the entire work was done by machines. Aloka from Ranchi says it is not possible to dig wells or ponds on rocky land because the Manrega scheme is limited to planting trees, soil shifting, and leveling activity.Cutting rock is not included in the scheme.
