Bundelkhand Vikas Cycle Yatra has reached Kalauliteer village in Sumerpur block of Hamirpur district of UP and finds that in the village of 4500 people electricity department has taken away electricity connection from last 4 months. The village was electrified in 1985 but 4 months back electricity dpet has cut the connection and taken the wires back with them. Children are facing big problem for their education. Rakesh Rai is visiting Thekrapara in Lakhanpur block Surguja district Chhattisgarh. He says I had visited this village a month back and people were complaining that though they don’t get electricity ( had some poles) but were getting bills then he had reported about it on Swara.
