Finally some officials from districts visited the village and have found that 72 laborers have not got their wages. 8 people have not got job cards. The officials have asked for a time of one month by the time payment will be made. The villagers have told them that if the promise is not kept they will be forced to gherao the bloack office. In an adivasi village called Rainiltola in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh, people have applied for work under MNREGA but no work is available. They say in a interview to Bhan Sahu that 50% people from the village have migrated in search of work as no NREGA work is available. Drinking water is also not available even at 300 feet.
