Jagdish Ji is calling from Katni in Madhya Pradesh where many villagers are sitting on a dharna in front of collector office. They allege that a Power plant is coming up in their area and the plant is taking away their land by force. Though they are sitting on dharna from 13th June, no officer has bothered to meet them. Naresh Bunkar is visiting a conference on Community Forest Rights Act in Mainpat in Surguja Chhattisgarh where he meets thousands of adivasis who have applied for individual forest rigths act years back but they tell him they have not got any land deeds.
