Charan Parte is visiting people to be displaced by Shobhapur dam ( On Narmada river) in village Baisakhutola of block Karanjia in Dindori district in MP where he meets a farmer Mayaram Yadav who tells him that his all 4 acres is going to be submerged when the dam comes up. 92 houses in the village will also be submerged and in total villagers will loose 168 acres in this village. Charan Singh Parte from Mandla Madhya Pradesh is visiting nearby Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh where Baiga adivasis are sitting on a protest in Pandaria against a proposed Tiger corridor. He talks to some of them who tell him that they are living on forest land from 2001 in their villages. Charan Singh Parte is visiting Pandaria in Kabirdham district in Chhattisgarh where hundreds of Baiga adivasis are sitting on a 2 day dharna protesting proposed Tiger corridor connecting Kanha, Bhoramdev and Achanakmar sanctuaries in MP and Chhattisgarh. They suspect 400-800 adivasis villages will be affected by the corridor and will destroy many adivasis lives. After the agitation they are planning to give a memorandum to Governor. The villagers tell him that Govt is threatening to take more than 50 hectare of their land and more than 100 houses for some project but the Gram Sabha was not discussed.
