Mukesh Kanwar from village Butiya in Tahsil Saraipali in Chhattisgarh says I had filed Right to Information which had exposed corruption in NREGA which I had reported on CGnet Swara. We had also complained to authorities. Since then the Sarpanch has been bothering us in various ways and last night they have burnt part of my house. I have complained to police but Sarpanch is still instigating people to harass us. Have I done any wrong by exposing corruption? Is there no law in this country? Raju Rana from Nawada village of Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand is telling us that some work under NREGA is going on in his village where half the workers do not have any job card or account in the post office/bank where according to law the money should be deposited. Not only this quite a few children below the age of 18 are working.
