Villagers catch Anganwadi worker selling food in black
Shankarlal from Lalitpur district in Uttar Pradesh is telling us that few alert villagers in his village caught the in-charge of local Anganwadi selling food meant for children and women to black marketeers. He says this anganwadi center was opened few months back and the in-change gave less food to children and women. Dealer returns ration card after complaint aired on Swara
Santosh Tudu from Ranchi Jharkhand says he had heard a message on Swara on 24th June. According to the message ration card dealer of a village in Jharkhand had taken away ration cards of people which he was using to black market the food grains meant for the villagers. He says when I called the person who had reported he was very pleased to report that his ration card was returned after he reported on Swara. Request for help to get ration cards back from influential people

Swara Impact :Food sent to children after complaint to Minister
Priyanka from Mumbai says Anil Bamne had earlier called on this forum to tell that a displaced village of Achanakmar Tiger reserve did not receive any food for 5 months in their anganvadi for pre school children. She had called Lata Usendi, minister for women and child welfare in Chhattisgarh to complain about the case. After another follow up now officials reached the village yesterday and have delivered 12 quintal rice for the hungry children. She requests others to use Swara platform similarly to improve delivery system on ground and thanks the minister for taking action
