Sanjay Sharma from Pampapur village in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh reports that some Below Poverty Live families got 25 kilo of subsidized ration last month instead of 35 in Public Distribution System ( PDS). He says when this was reported in the Panchayat meeting it was disrupted and no resolution could be passed to be forwarded to authorities. Sanjay requests administration to look into the matter. Bhagirath Verma from Chhattisgarh Mukti Morcha says due to wrong policies of government first mini steel plant has closed down as feared. He says government shoud supply cheap raw material and electricity to mini steel plants for them to survive but the government is only interested in multi national companies. If this continues then loborers will be forced to come out in streets after joining hands with mill owners

Bhan Sahu is reporting from Kawardha where Baiga tribals organized a day long protest dharna under banner of Adivasi Samta manch. The Baiga tribals were demanding regularization of government schemes in health, education and employment guarantee. She says in many villages government has made buildings for hospitals but have not arranged any doctors or medicine and tribals are forced to walk many miles at the time of sickness.

Ramesh Agrawal from Raigarh has sent a message that finally government of Chhattisgarh was forced to file a case against Jindals who were building a 2400 megawatt power plant in Tamnar without any clearance/permissions. First government arranged a fraud public hearing but when Ministry of Environment and Forest declared the public hearing null and void and have asked government to file a
complaint they had no other way
