NREGA: Even RTI 2nd appeal unable to dig out corruption
Prakash Gupta from Surguja in Chhattisgarh says Right to Information is not able to help expose corruption in NREGA. He says he had heard about corruption in NREGA in his village so he applied under RTI to get some details but he did not. Then he went for appeal but the higher official is still sitting on his application after months though legally he should decide on it in 45 days. Jindal Power is trying to take over my land illegally, Pls help

Village secretariat scheme running only on paper...

He says the idea was to solve villagers problems in thei villages and it was instructed that once in a week the village secretariate will listen to all the complaints of the villagers where representatives from all the Govt departments will be present. Need for audit of development money spent on Korwas
