Ratikant from Raigarh in Chhattisgarh says that Govt websites are telling that everyone is entitled to get 3.85 liter of kerosene oil but the ration shops are giving only 2 liter to people who live Below Poverty line. People with Above Poverty Line card are not given any kerosene though the website says otherwise. It is a scam of crores of rupees and needs to be investigated. Khuturam Sunani is telling us that I had told you about the story of Kuliadongri village on this platform where villagers had caught an officer siphoning off PDS subsidized ration. The officer was jailed. To punish for this act the entire panchayat has not been given subsidized rice for last 5 months and a 27 year old boy called Laxman had died of malnutrition. Chandrakant from Chanta village in Kabirdham district says this adivasi village has its subsidized ration shop 30 kms away and the Baiga, Gond adivasis need to travel through steep hills to get their ration.
