शहर के नए बस स्टैंड में मंगलवार को दिन दहाड़े गोली चलने से अफरातफरी मच गई।भास्कर न्यूज जगदलपुर, यहां भीड़-भाड़ के बीच पुलिस के एक जवान ने नशे की हालत में एसएलआर से ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां दाग दी।संयोग रहा कि गोली किसी इंसान को नहीं लगी, अलबत्ता जवान की चलाई गोली से एक गाय बुरी तरह जख्मी हो गई।गोली सीधे उसके पेट को चीरती शरीर में धंस गई है। गाय को छटपटाता देख कुछ लोगों ने इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी। घटना के तुरंत बाद मौके पर पहुंचे बोधघाट थाना प्रभारी ने आरोपी जवान को हथियार सहित गिरफ्तार कर लिया और उसे थाने ले आए।
दंतेवाड़ा के कलेक्टरों ने की थी मनमानी
दंतेवाड़ा ! ( देशबंधु) राज्य शासन द्वारा आदिवासियों की जमीन गैर आदिवासियों को बेचे जाने के मामले में कड़ी कार्रवाई किए जाने के बाद दंतेवाड़ा में भी हडकंप मचा हुआ है। राज्य शासन ने दक्षिण बस्तर के कुछ प्रकरणों पर तत्कालीन कलेक्टर के.आर. पिस्दा तथा श्रीमती रीना कंगाले के खिलाफ आरोप पत्र जारी किया है।

Mangal Kunjam is telling us about Govt sponsored Barsur Mahotsav at Bastar. He says there is an old Ganesh temple here and it is claimed that it is Asia’s biggest Ganesh statue which was built by the Kings. Barsur mela is very famous and people come from far off places but this year Govt is sponsoring it and CM Dr Raman Singh will come to inaugurate. Mangal Kunjam from Dantewada in Chhattisgarh says adivasis in the area are demanding opening of a weekly market from 5 years but authorites are not listening. Due to closure of this market the tribal need to walk 40/50 kms to reach weekly haat and a trip to market takes 4 days. They are also frightened to go to Kirandul market where police most of the time harass them. Apart from market administration should also be providing basic facilities in these villages. Mangal Kunjam is interviewing a villager near National Mineral Development Corporation mines in Dantewada who says his NMDC township wants to take their culivable land for building a bus stand and quarters for the workers. The villagers say not only the land taken for the stand but also nearby land will be destroyed which is their only source of income. They have complained to higher authorities but no one listens.
