An angry Mr Tejlal from Lakhanpur block in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh is narrating the problems of his village. He says 220 laborers worked in NREGA in 2009 and their payment of Rs 3 lakh is yet to be made. Electric poles were laid 20 years ago but no electricity has come. They have not got any ration card, no job card for NREGA. Village has no handpump and no roads. Old age pension have not been paid from 3 months.
