Sudarshan Baid from Kanker district of Chhattisgarh says Rs 5 lakh was sanctioned for school building in his village in 2007. The work also got started but developed cracks due to bad quality. since then the school is functional on air and they move to a kutcha house in rains where there are many snakes and scorpions. Pitbasu Bhoi from Surguja in Chhattisgarh says all of you know about my NREGA non payment case.But today I want to talk about issues of others in my village.The day Human Rights commission came to enquire about my case they also went to Panchayat bhavan which was closed. The ration shop was open but did not have any kerosene, sugar or salt. Some people in my village have their names on the BPL list from 2002 but they have not got ration cards yet.
