Impact : Police arrests rapist headmaster after Swara report
Khuturam Sunani says a headmaster in Koraput school had allegedly raped a 14 year old student but 10 days after the police report and complaint to district collector there was no action but administration was trying to hush up the matter. I had sent the message on Swara with phone numbers of police officers that day and after phone calls the headmaster was arrested the next day. Maoist political killings continue in Nuapada, Odisha
Khuturam Sunani says Maoists have killed one more political person in Nuapada. In the latest incident they have killed a Block chairman of Nuapada block. Hunger strike demanding more teachers in village schools
Khuturam Sunani is telling us from Nuapada in Odisha that people from Nagrik manch are sitting on a hunger strike from 15th November demanding more teachers in the village schools in the district. He alleges that this year 526 teachers were transferred and many have taken appointment in city schools by paying bribes. People from Nagrik Mach were sitting on a dharn from 21st Oct but administration has not bothered to listen to them, so they have now decided to go on hunger strike. Villagers expose PDS corruption, gets punished with no rice!
Khuturam Sunani from Nuapada district of Odisha says that villagers in Karanbali gram Panchayat in Senapali block had exposed corruption in PDS in the month of June and the officer was sent to jail but instead of rewarding them administration has punished them by sending PDS subsidized rice since then.
