Khuturam Sunani from Nuapada district of Odisha is telling the story of a village where people need to travel 10 kms for water. There is one hand pump in the village which does not work. Villagers have dug a well which does not produce more than 10 liters of water per hour. Villagers are dependent on two water streams inside the forest for water. More than 10 members of their organization have got injured trying to fire fight but there is no trace of forest department and district authorities are also not concerned.
