Rajkishor Sunani, a member of Niyamgiri Surakshya Samitee from Kalahandi in Odisha is singing a song in local Kosli language. In the song he is narrating that Niyamgiri is a sacred hill which is their lord and saviour. This hill is life and livelihood for adivasis, he says. Elephants destroyed many houses and crop but Forest dept not helping...

Rising water in Indira Sagar Dam affecting new villages, Govt not helping...

Elephants destroyed our houses 3 weeks ago, Forest officers not visited yet

On average 9 deliveries a day but dont have any lady doctor in Govt hospital
Adivasi woman Sukamma is calling from Chinturu mandal in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh. She is telling us in Gondi that in Chnturu Government hospital there is no lady doctor. On average 9 deliveries are taking place in the hospital everyday but they are being attended by male doctors which is big inconvenience.
