Dame Oraon from Sundargarh district in Odisha is calling for help as 10 elephants have entered their area and destroying crops and houses. He says 8 elephants have entered the nearby villages from last 3 days and forest department is doing nothing. He says these are villages near Rourkela town still forest dept is completely inactive. Villagers getting united to snatch forest rights from Corporate-Govt combine

Sunil Verma is visiting Chandwa area in Latehar district of Jharkhand where villagers are getting united Van Adhikar manch under to fight for proper implementation of Forest Rights Act. Nearest Anganwadi 4 kms and a forest away, Our children cant go, Pls help

Voluntary forestation work gets no help from Forest dept, alleges volunteers

Forest dept first stopped entry in forest and now stopping widening of roads

Nagendra Sharma from Adhoura block in Kaimur district in Bihar is telling us that in this adivasi area forest dept has stopped adivasis from entering forest which gave them livelihood for at least half the year in the name of a sanctuary.
