Mangal Kunjam from Dantewada in Chhattisgarh is talking to a Gondi speaking local Mahua liquor seller. Samruram says he sells one bottle of Mahua liquor for Rs 30 and earns around Rs 800 in a month. He says though his village is just 10 kms from the iron ore mines of National Mineral Development corporation but only one person has got a job from his village so far and he is forced to sell Mahua for his livelihood.
