Out of 58 families 11 got no support and their situation is very bad as they neither have any money nor a place to stay.They are surviving due to support from fellow Baigas. Naresh Bunkar from Kawardha district in Chhattisgarh is telling that Bharat Aluminium Co ( Balco) is mining bauxite on land of 5 Adivasi villages from 1997 which it took on 20 years lease. 66 Baiga Adivasis were displaced. Today when we are demanding papers for starting the mining operation and the whole process of taking those land under RTI they say no papers are available.
