India has highest number of TB patients and there is facility of free treatment in Govt hospitals. You need to take medicine for 6 months. If you do not take the medicine regularly it may relapse. He suggests if you know someone who is coughing for more than two weeks please help them go to nearest health centre for a free check up. It can be TB which is curable.
