Rajkumar Mishra from Satna district in Madhya Pradesh says dalits and adivasis are forced to migrate from district to bigger cities in search of work in big numbers as they are not getting work under NREGA. They are also taking their children along harming their education. Nathulal Rathore from Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh says that Govt is paying a rate of Rs 146 to people working on road construction under NREGA in his village. The skilled laborers under Govt of MP instructions should get a minimum of Rs 212. He suggests this is a violation of Government’s own labor laws. This should be changed. She is sitting on a dharna in front of Collector office today demanding compensation of Rs 15 lakhs and 3 acre land. She says they are landless, dont have BPL and NREGA card.
