जिला-दन्तेवाडा (छत्तीसगढ़) से बाबूलाल नेटी दंतेवाड़ा के नाम की कहानी बता रहे हैं वे बता रहे है कि यह शंखिनी और डंकिनी नाम की दो नदियों का संगम स्थान है यहाँ दंतेश्वरी नामक मंदिर बहुत प्रसिद्ध है जहाँ दूर-दूर से लोग दर्शन करने आते है. लोग बताते हैं कि दंतेश्वरी माँ दो बहन है बड़ी बहन बालपेट में रहती है और छोटी बहन दंतेश्वरी में है इस महिमा का बखान हर साल नवरात्रि में होती है दोनों देवी कोई एक भक्त के साथ जा रहे थे तो माँ बोली बेटा जब तक मेरी पायल की आवाज सुनाई देगी पीछे मुडकर मत देखना, लेकिन रेत की वजह से पायल नही बजी तो भक्त पीछे मुडकर देखा तो दोनों वहां नही मिले, विलुप्त हो गए तब से इस जिले का नाम दंतेवाडा पड़ा | बाबूलाल@7089138521
