But the new generation is not taking interest in this knowledge. Raju Rana from Chatra district of Jharkhand says in Semaria block after first rain of monsoon many animals have died due to some unknown disease. In the nearby forest many carcasses of the died animal are lying. Some animals like fox have also died. People are frightened to go to forest to collect wood and there is a danger of contamination in human beings too. This has broken the backbone of poor farmes. Raju Rana from Nawada village of Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand is telling us that some work under NREGA is going on in his village where half the workers do not have any job card or account in the post office/bank where according to law the money should be deposited. Not only this quite a few children below the age of 18 are working.
