My name is Fulmet Pahadi Korwa. I am calling from Upar Salkheta village in Gitkalo panchayat post Kumarta block Dharmajaigarh district Raigarh Chhattisgarh. Today I want to tell you about Mitahru kand ( root) found in forest up in hills near my village. This is like a bush which has roots which needs digging. We eat it after taking off the skins. It is very tasty and whole of our family eats it often. We are told that it is very useful for anaemia or lack of blood situation. Fulmet@9522730355

Fulmet Pahadi Korwa, a girl from Pahadi Korwa primitive tribal community is telling us the reasons why her community is very poor. She says we live up in the hills and land can not hold much water there and productivity of farms is less. We do not know anything apart from farming she says. Education is very less and we also do not have recognition as a primitive tribe in some places like where I live in Upar Salketa village in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. Though it is mandatory to give ration card for giving subsidized gran to each Pahadi Korwa Primitive Tribe but my ration card which was given to me in 2013 was cancelled in 2014.
