जल रही है,
तप रही है,
लूट रही है,
जीवन के हर मोड़ में,
जल रहा तन-मन
सूखी डालियों सा,
जिन्दगी जैसे जिंदा लाश बन
सिर्फ जिये जा रही,
नारी होने का दर्द झेल रही,
पुरखो की आस को
मगर नहीं नहीं छोड़ रही,
आज नहीं तो कल
बजेगा फिर से अखड़ा में मांदर,
होगा पूरे गाँव में
सुख-चैन और अमन,
सूखी हाड़-मांस में
फिर से लौट आएगी हरियाली,
यही सोच जी रही

Upendra Vahinipati from Bilaspur says the number of deaths due to malaria is increasing every day in the district and government efforts to contain are not seen on the ground. The number of malaria patients these days is so high in the hospitals that is is difficult to serve them. He hopes that next time Government of Chhattisgarh will take better precautions to stop malaria spreading mosquitoes.
