Rajendra Gadwal from Betul district in MP is telling us that today in Sarni forest range adivasis were trying to plant fruit bearing saplings but forest dept uprooted 5000 of them by force. 6 adivasis were injured in beatings by forest dept and adivasi were not allowed to move for 4 hours and were released only in evening. He says they called forest department who never visits at night. He says elephants have broken 20 houses like this and have destroyed crop of millions.
