निढ़ाल, मौन
देखा है कभी
उस इंसान को,
देखा है
फूटपाथ पर पड़ी
नंगी-अधनंगी
उस बेबस और लाचार
महिला को,
देखा है
भूख से बिलखते
मासूम चेहरों को
जिनकी तस्वीरें
होती हैं विकास के
सबसे उपरी पन्नों पर।
देखा है
सरेआम लूटते
और बिकते
अपनी माँ-बहनों को,
देखा है
इंसान को
इंसानियत की नजर से
जिनकी तस्वीरें
बड़ी चाव से
छापते और उस पर
रिरयाते हैं,
वाहवाही लूटते
उनकी नामों पर,
घूरते हैं उनकी
जख्मी काया को
किसी भूखे भेड़िये की तरह,
देखा है
उन झोपड़ियों की ओर झांककर
जो पीढ़ीयों से सहते रहे हैं
तुम्हारी यातनाएं,
विकास और टैक्नोलॉजी के नाम पर
पल-प्रतिपल छलते रहे,
रचते रहे क्षण-प्रतिक्षण षड्यंत्र,
