Naresh Bunkar is calling from Rajak village of Lormi block, Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh to report about a non-functional Aanganwadi centre in this village of 180 Baiga Adivasis. The Aanganwadi personnel have neither opened the centre nor provided mid day meals in the last four years. Such behaviour of Aanganwadi personnel thrives due to lack of government supervision. Naresh Bunkar is calling from Nawalpur village of Charkhuti Panchayat, block Lormi Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh and says villagers had reported on Swara that Govt had dug drains and there was no access to go to village after that. Following this officers have responded and they have made provision for one passage and remaining work is in progress for more access to the village.
