Jagdish Ji is reporting from Gadbhoi a forest village in Rewa district in MP where people have assembled to celebrate May Day. Villagers tell him that 73 adivasis have applied for land under Forest Rights act from this village they are still waiting. More than 3000 from the villages in the region have got land deeds in 2001 but most dont have possession. They tell him that out of 3,44,329 who got land deeds in 2001 only 20-30% have got possession. Jagdish@9630095968

Jagdish is visiting village Mankadar in Jaba block, Rewa MP where dalit, adivasis got land deeds in 2001 but yet to get possession of land. After their complaint yesterday officials came to find the land and it was found that some influential upper caste people are in possession of those land. Jagdish is visiting Paragtola village in Ghuman Panchayat in Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. 150 adivasis live in this village and their main profession is goat rearing. In last 10 days more than 100 goats have died due to an unknown disease but no vaterinary doctor has visited them. Jagdish Ji is visiting Badachh village in Jaba block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh where dalits and adivasis tell him that they are not getting any subsidized grain under Public distribution service. MP Govt has announced that each dalit and adivasi will get a token and that will give them subsidized grain but they are not getting the token either.
