We worked to construct roads in January under National Employment Guarantee Act but are still waiting for our wages says villagers from Dhumadand village in Pratappur block of Surajpur district in Chhattisgarh to Shivlal. They say they first approached the village level officers who promised to give payment in few days but nothing happened. Since then they are going to block officers but no help yet. Rajbahor Shukla from village Kaitha in Mangawan tehsil of Gangeo block in thana Gadh of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh donated some land to community to use it as cremation ground but when he took dead body of one of his relative he found some people have illegally captured the land and did not allow him to cremate.
