Arun Ji says our Govt is showing too much interest in giving land to industrialists but that enthusiasm is not seen when giving forest land to adivasis or sorting their land problem is concerned. He says in remote areas like Bharatpur Forest department officials are still creating havoc in adivasi lives and Govt has been able to deliver on its promise of giving forest land to many. No administrative officer, doctor in hospital, people suffer...
Bhan Sahu is narrating her experience of visiting Tahsil administrative office and hospital in Ambagarh Chowki in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. She found the administrative office to be closed because the officer looks after 3/4 Tahsils. People need the signature of the officer for school admission and agriculture work. "NREGA work getting done using machines in Chhattisgarh"
Bhan Sahu is talking to some Congress farmer cell leaders in Ambagarh Chowki who are in the middle of a demonstration against use of machines in NREGA work. The Congress leaders say that farmers are getting cheated here in NREGA as the laborers are not getting work. Farmers facing trouble getting subsidized seed and fertilizer
Bhan Sahu is interviewing two farmers in Ambagarh Chowki in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. The farmers tell her that they are having difficulty getting subsidized seed and fertilizer. The farmers say the shops are filled with seed and fertilizers but they are very expensive. But the government is callous about providing subsidized items to poor farmers and is helping the businessmen as farmer need seeds and fertilizer in time. Monsoon is coming, people need money but no NREGA wages
Today Bhan Sahu visits some villages in Ambagarh Chowki block of Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. She has found that people have worked on NREGA from February and have not got their wages. She says people need money as the monsoon is arriving and they need to buy seeds and also need to send children to school.
