Jagdish is visiting forest village of Gadbhoi in Jaba block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh with CGnet Swara Citizen Journlism Awareness Yatra. More than 300 dalits live in the village. They tell him that they are farming forest land from more than 3 generations as prescribed in Forest Right Act. They have filled up forms but have not heard back from Govt. 180 of us applied for land deeds under forest rights act twice but no reply yet...

Govt gave us land in 2001 but it is still captured by influential people, Pls help...
Ramkanth Verma from Chaur village post Patiari district Rewa Madhya Pradesh says 60 dalit and adivasi families from the village had got land deeds in 2001 from Govt but they are yet to get possession. The land is still owned by influential people of the area. They have requested local officers but no one helps. Request to come to Bhopal on 9th June to demand Govt land to each landlesss...
Ram Prasad Adivasi from Nunari village in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh is giving call to all landless people who live on Government land but have not got land deeds from revenue or forest department to assemble in Bhopal on 9th June to demand their right to land.
