Prakash Oraon from village Newari in Latehar district of Jharkhand says that people in his village are protesting against work of TCML ( A joint venture of Hindalco and Tata Power) from a week but the company is contuning their work. He alleges that for breaking the people’s resistance company is using brokers who are supplying liquor and other intoxicating stuff to people in the village. Prakash Gupta from Surguja in Chhattisgarh says authorities have demolished houses of some poor dalits and adivasis built on forest land in a village. According to Forest Rights Act no action is allowed in forest land without permission from Central Ministry of forest.
