31 of us filled claim form under forest right in 2006 but only 8 have got lease and remaining people are still waiting.This was complained to officials many times but no one is paying attention though authorities visited the area say villagers of Targuda village under Kuhka panchayat in Etapally tehsil of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra in Gondi to Shivlal Usendi. We 85 families lost our land to South Eastern Coalfield Limited more than 10 years ago. Coal company promised job while taking our land 5 years ago, still waiting...
Goukaran Verma is visiting Gare village in Tamnar tehsil of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh where 4th Coal satyagraha was organized. He meets Jankibai who is from Lat village under Edu post in Dharmjaigarh tehsil and tells him that 15 acre of her land was acquired by SECL mines company and they had promised job but 5 years have passed and her son in law didn’t get the job yet.
