There is paucity of labs, instruments and teachers and the student does not feel confident that after passing out he will be able to do any work. Dilip from Raipur says gang rape of a school girl on 16th July when she went to a remote area with her boy friend is not a one off incident. He says one boy called him up who does not want to be identified but said the same boys had tried to rape his girl friend in last October when he visited that area. He had not reported it to police. Dilip says these boys and girls are going to these unsafe areas because there are not enough places for young people to meet in cities.
