Kunja Ramaraju is calling from Janganamatta village, Chintur mandal, Khammam district in Andhra Pradesh and says water tank in their village is under repair from 3 years which was newly built then. Since then villagers are drinking dirty water from the canal which is causing diseases. It was appealed to RWS DE but that received no response. Jagdish Ji is sharing that on 27th July he had recorded an interview with teacher of the school in Lafanda village in Jaba block of Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. The teacher had complained that the school hand pump was broken from March and adivasi children were bringing water from far. Pradeep is visiting Isdu village in Jawania panchayat of Alirajpur district in MP. This is a fluoride affected village. All the 12 hand pumps throw water with excess fluoride and everyone in village is suffering including children. 12 years ago Govt built 12 water tanks and had made arrangement for bringing safe water from 40 kms but these tanks were filled only twice in last 12 years. Reshiya bhai is visiting Mankar falia in Temla village in Sondwa tahsil of Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh where adivasi villagers tell him that they have huge water problem as they don’t have any hand pump. There was a well but a bullock fell there and water got contaminated. They fetch dirty water from a stream 3 kms away and many are falling ill.
