My name is Bajirao. I am calling from Harjjini village, Narnool mandal of Adhilabad district in Andhra Pradesh. In our village there is an Ashram school.In the school the teachers are selling children’s food provisions.We complained to the higher officers but they didn’t respond. Satendra Oraon from Chatra district of Jharkhand is telling us that adivasis of his area took out a rally today and have stopped the work in the BCL coal mines. He says BCL is cheating the local people and taking away their land and today their main demand is release of their local leader Suresh who was arrested by police who was leading their agitation against the mines. Shyamrao Dhawle from Chhindwada district of Madhya Pradesh says a Hanumn temple in the region also works as a theraupetic center for mental patients. Thousands of mental patients come to the temple for treatment though they do not get any treatment. 75% of the patients are women. The temple collects crores in donation but neither the temple nor Govt is doing anything to help these patients. More than a dozen patients have died last year.
